Support Service Manager

Support Service Manager (Specialized in Finance, Supply Chain & Admin) based in West Regional Office, Dhangadhi- (One)
Key Responsibilities: The Support Service Manager will provide overall leadership, oversight and management support for all aspects of financial management in the Area Field Office. This position is seen as a strategic partner, with a focus on ensuring accountability, stewardship, coordinating planning and budgeting processes, providing accurate financial data, analysis and advices. He/She will be responsible for the Area support staff capacity strengthening, the development and implementation of good internal controls, risk management, and utilization and safe guarding of assets according to World Vision approved policies and procedures in area offices; Should be able to manage the Supply Chain function in area office ensuring that the procurement of organizational resources is executed effectively, efficiently and economically; Must be able to manage the Administration function ensuring that the Area office is effectively supported and staff have a clean, secure and hospitable place to work.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: A Master's degree in management, business administration or related area with 5 years of experience or a Bachelors degree in management or business administration with more than 5 years of experience; Require knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practical knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, supply chain management and procedures; Should have thorough understanding and experience about Nepal Government's strategies, policies, guidelines, plans about Logistics Management; Proven management and leadership skills in order to work and manage staffs of different nationalities with strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve. Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. This role will require to travel to remote areas for 25% of the time.

प्रक्रिया
  • ऋयलकगतिबलतरऋयmउबलथ बाट बिभिन्न ब्तिभचलबतभ का प्लान एवम् एलिभेशन भएका आर्किटेक नक्शाहरु तयार गरी मञ्चको सम्बन्धित आधिकारिक पदाधिकारी तथा ऋयलकगतिबलत को आधिकारिक प्राविधिकबीच हुने छलफल पश्चात छानिएको नक्शाको ब्तिभचलबतभ अनुसारको नक्शा चयन गर्ने ।
  • सो छानिएको नक्शा अनुसारको नक्शाको कामनपाको नियमानुसार आर्किटेक, स्ट्रक्चर (म्भकष्नल ब्लबथिकष्क समेत गरी) आवश्यक प्रति तयारी पश्चात फारम भरी कामनपाको नक्शा शाखामा पेश गर्ने ।
  • कामनपाको नक्शा शाखा तथा सम्बन्धित वडामा गई आवश्यक सरकारी प्रक्रियाहरू पूरा गराउने । 
  • एष्लितज भिखभ िसम्मको भवनको स्वीकृति, एष्लितज भिखभ िभन्दा माथिको भवनको स्वीकृति तथा भवन निर्माण सम्पन्न प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्तिसम्मको प्राविधिक कार्यहरू समेत गर्ने ।
  • भवन निर्माणका लागि दुबै बिकल्पमा परेको दररेटको अध्ययन गरी कुनै एक बिकल्पमा अघि बढ्ने ।   
  • यी बुँदाहरुमा समावेश नभएका शर्तहरू छनौट भएको ऋयलकगतिबलतरऋयmउबलथ र यस मञ्चका बिचमा सम्पन्न गरिने छुट्टै सम्झौतामा समाबेश गरिनेछन् ।

Livelihood and Natural Resources Coordinator

The Livelihood and Natural Resources Coordinator will conceptualise, plan, manage and generate knowledge to promote rights to food, sustainable livelihood and access to natural resources to contribute to the overall organisational goal of poverty eradication in line with AAIN's Country Strategy Paper.
Key responsibilities: 
  • Lead the Livelihood and Natural Resources related objective of AAIN and ensure effective Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources programmes management
  • Build capacity of relevant AAIN, PNGO staffs and networks on issues relating to Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources
  • Ensure effective network/ linkage with existing partners, alliances, key actors engaged in Right to Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources at national and international levels
  • Monitor & evaluate work relating to Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources.
  • Contribute to overall Knowledge, Policy and Governance department to develop and implement strategies and policies
  • Take Corporate Responsibilities.
Key competencies required:
  • Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Agriculture or relevant social science 
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in the development sector with three years’ experience in senior level position
  • Knowledge of national and international laws and policies relating to Right to Food, Food Sovereignty, Livelihood and Natural Resources and Agricultural Development Policy and Strategy
  • Excellent skills in written and spoken English and Nepali including the ability and experience to compose, edit, analyse and report using complex information
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent computer skills including navigating email, internet and MS WORD, Excel,  and PowerPoint
This is a senior level position based in Kathmandu with frequent travel inside the country

Inspector of Works

Job Location: Mid and Far Western Districts

Rural Access Programme – Phase 3 (RAP3) is a 6-year DFID funded programme operating in 14 Districts of Nepal. It aims to improve people’s incomes and resilience through employment, sustainable access to markets and improved access to economic opportunities. 
Due to an extension of activities, the Programme is seeking experienced additional technical support staff to assist in its programme of supporting DCCs and Local Government in implementing effective road maintenance.
Assignments will be field based and may include postings to any of RAP3’s 14 Districts although initial assignments are expected to focus on its western CORE (typically Achham, Dadeldhura, Dailekh, Doti and Jumla).

Inspector of Works (District Road Maintenance / Construction) – Several Positions
  • Must possess at least a diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years relevant work experience since passing out
  • Have significant previous supervision experience in road construction and/or maintenance
  • Must have valid driving license for two-wheelers
