DESCRIPTION
Goal:
To ensure that all Operational related requirements of CCED Operations are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies Utility and Civil activities and deploys the required resources accordingly.
- Follows up on daily work orders to Civil Contractor, Foreman and Senior Craftsmen in order to distribute work to the Craftsmen.
- Executes daily minor civil works schedule.
- Receives emergency work orders for utility and civil works, acts accordingly.
- Supervises all rigging works on the plant. Directs as required.
- Guides all Utility craftsmen at site while carrying out scaffolding, hydro-jetting, blasting, painting and insulation works. Coordinate with Fire & Safety and Operation departments as required.
- Deploys resources to ensure that are utilized efficiently.
- Co-operates with related departments for smooth work execution.
- Prepares daily reports.
- Participate in setting sectional objectives and goals.
- Responsible for all function as delegated by the section Superintendent.
- Responsible for all personnel administration in the area of Utility and Civil.
- Observe all HSE rules and regulations.
- Follow Procedures and Work Instructions for doing the tasks.
- Take a role in the Emergency response plan as Alternate-1 to the Equipment Coordinator to provide equipment and material to various groups
Duties:
- Deploy the equipment & material as per requirement.
- Maintain a record of all equipment available at CCED and its subcontractors, received from outside of maintenance assembly area and deployed to various support groups.
- Maintain high level of housekeeping throughout the operation at all times.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- 8- 10 years’ experience
- Both Civil Experience in Construction & O&G
- Good Computer Skills
- Good knowledge of technical English is required
- A valid vehicle driving license is required.
Client intends to carry out further petroleum constructions and activities in connection with its on-going exploration, development and production programs in Blocks 3 (Afar) and 4 (Ghunaim), onshore in Oman (the “Site”).
Personnel services on a call off basis are required involving rotation of 10 weeks on duty in the site and certain 2 weeks off duty.
